dvips.info says
* that $TEXFONTS (if set) overrides the T <tfm-path> specifications
in config files and
* that $PKFONTS (if set) overrides the P <pk-path> specifications in
config files.
But, it seems that $TEXFONTS (if set) also overrides the P <pk-path>
specifications if PKFONTS isn't set. This is not documented very
clearly. And I also think that this is the wrong thing. Whom would I
have to convince to change this? T. Rokicki or K. Berry?
